Social Businesses are profitable initiatives whose core business brings forward solutions to social problems by using market mechanisms.

• They integrate the rationales behind both the private and social sectors.

Artemisia-AIESEC Social Business Program:  Engaging the next generation in Social Businesses.

Since 2004, Artemisia and AIESEC have worked together to engage young people from around the world in learning about Social Business.  This includes internship opportunities with Social Businesses in Latin America and India, Social Business Plan Competitions, and an intensive learning environment.

In partnership with AIESEC since 2004, Artemisia has provided over 150 internships in 12 countries and engaged over 1,000 members in competitions and workshops.

Benefits that Interns of the Social Business Program interns get within their Social Business experience through the program:

• Participate in a virtual and physical learning environment about Social Business
• Develop entrepreneurial behavior
• Build a network with entrepreneurs, Artemisia staff, other interns and AIESEC members
